recent changes.

Here's some stuff that has recently happened.. since i'm bad at writing on here.

• I MOVED! woo. 
• The semester has ended 
• I experienced finals week. (without much studying actually)
• I'm considered a fake hawaiian by my boss
• so he took me fishing to make me more hawaiian
• going home.. again! :)
• aunty kahala, mana, and aunty deko are in town. 
• Aunty kahala's famous red velvet cupcakes. :p
• Elder Holland was here! (I set up his mic)

Yeah I don't really know what else has changed. So... yup. boring post, i know. but it'll have to do.

back to the island.

Being home was awesome. I didn't want to leave. :( but i'll be back.. 3 weeks! woo hoo! here's some pics of what occured:

I'm home!I'm so lucky that I have a dad who works for the airlines and an awesome aunt too! I got home yesterday and am home for a week. Here to spend lots of time with my family. Today I got to bond with the sisters while we ran to provo to visit Gpa R. who just had heart surgery. We also went to DI where pami said we should go find all our old stuff. hahaha. and we went to TARGET! I love that place. I could shop there for everything. I also got to see Liss and Soph. Sneaking Cafe Rio into 3 musketeers was pretty exciting... and delicious!  gotta love the adventures I have with them. Ang goes into surgery tomorrow, so tomorrow may be a crazy day but i'm praying for you sis! YOU'RE GONNA DO AWESOME AND HEAL UP IN NO TIME. :)

so yes. that is a little summary of how everything is going right now.

interesting things of the islands.

There is lots of weird stuff here so i thought i'd share:

• SPAM macadamia nuts.... yeah ewww.
• couples everywhere you turn on byuh campus
• the hobos at the beach who are there every single time i go
• curry burritos in the cafeteria
• bubble drinks.. even though i like them. 
• me waking up at 7 a.m. on a saturday morning to go do homework
• pine trees
• my boss losing his cell phone making it impossible to contact him. So i basically am going to believe that i'm off till he finds it 
• people who dress like it is -30 degrees when really its 75. 
• the vacuum named "jerome"
• the birds that sound like crying babies. 
• the cool looking, but weird plants
• Saimin for breakfast.. Delicious!

I think that's about it for now. just thought i'd inform you

its a sunshiny day.

hello.

So i went paddle boarding!! woo hoo! it was so fun. there were tons of turtles that were huge and would swim up right next to you. it was actually really scary. but i lived so maybe i'll do it again. The weather has been really nice lately and i love it, it actually makes me kind of miss the cold, but i"ll resist that temptation.

 

I love hawaii.. until it gets boring, but then i go to the beach.

OH! and i cannot wait to go home! WOOOOOO WOOOOO!

and if anyone wants anything from the islands let me know.

Bucket list before Christmas.

I decided I need a bucket list, BUT, I should probably do some stuff before I go home for Christmas, preferably get a nice tan since I do live on a rock in the middle of the ocean. Here it goes:

• Paddle board! 
• Go to a surf competition.
• Do my homework before 8 o'clock at night. 
• bonfire!
• nightswim a few times.
• move out of HALE 5.... please!
• stand on a surf board.
• run 4 days a week.
• go the the beach twice a week.
• buy every member of my family a meaningful gift for christmas.
• climb stairway to heaven.
• send a letter to a missionary.
• drink 6 water bottles a day.
• surprise/scare someone really good.
• send a package home.
• Go to the temple everyday for a week.
• make it to church on time every sunday.
• take 10 pictures a day of interesting things.
• update my blog twice a week (for you anga!)

I'm still alive.

It's been awhile since i've posted on life. So what's new...hmmmmm:

• I went to one of the greatest concerts ever! YTF.
• Dom dom came to visit. :)
• Caught some toads with dom. 
• I got a new long board. I love it. 
• I need to talk to my little sisters more.
• School's the same as always.
• We found a giant spider in our dorm. EWWW! 
• It's almost halloween.
• I went to the haunted lagoon.
• I'm going to become a pro surfer.. once I learn how to stand up. 
• homework, homework, homework. & midterms next week.

Yeah, my life is pretty boring right now. I need to make it exciting.

and the journey begins....

yesterday was my birthday. it was an adventure. :) and i'm now officially an ADULT! I don't know how I feel about that one yet. But i'm excited!

Here's a few things we did:

• Grandma Ah Quin and Papa took me out to dinner @ pcc. :)

•  They gave me a PRETTY lei.

•  My mom mailed Lauren all my presents that they gave me.

•  Lauren decorated my room!

•  I also watched some psych (love it), went to work all night, and then went SURFING! 

It was a good day, or few days. Now for the rest of adulthood! :)

So here's a little lesson that took me too long to learn: 

"Yea, it is the love of God, which sheddeth itself abroad in the hearts of the children of men; wherefore, it is the most desireable above all things....Yea, and the most joyous to the soul... And it came to pass that I beheld that the rod of iron, which my father had seen, was the word of god, which led to the fountain of living waters, or to the tree of life; which waters are a representation of the love of God; and I also beheld that the tree of life was a representation of the love of God."

I learned this... that the love of God will bring you the most joy and the word of God leads to his love! wow. It's as simple as reading your scriptures and living them and yet we all seem to feel down sometimes and don't know why. 

I found the cure that's been here all along.

Home sweet home.

Its been awhile. Well... I went home over our week long break before fall semester! It was an adventure.

 My sister's didn't know I was coming home. sooooo.... what happened was I took some pics with their bunny and sent it to them. A few minutes later I called and they were so confused. I told them I found the bunny and it was with me in hawaii. So they go outside to check and sure enough I was standing right there. The two little ones hugged me like crazy. IT WAS THE BEST SURPRISE EVER!


 While I was home I did lots... too much for a vacation. here's what:

• I hung out with my FAVORITE niece and nephew in the whole wide world!

• I went to the temple.

•  Hung out with my sister... (But I wish I would have more)

•  And... spent some time with my GRAND DAUGHTER.

 It was super fun and I'm really glad I have parents who wanted me to come home :) sooo... THANKS MOM AND DAD. I'm sorry if I wasn't home very much. I'm grateful that I got to go for a bit.

Kaua'i w/ Gmama.

So yesterday grandma and i hoped on a plane and went to kaua'i for the day. It was an adventure. I saw my uncles, cousins, aunty and great grandma who i haven't seen in forever. Grandma got to spend some time with her mom. It was a really good trip. THANKS MOM AND DAD FOR LETTING US GO.

 so here's the motherboard of my life.... a.k.a. what i do for a living (haha).

 all i really do though is turn the volume up on two of the many little thingys... i don't even know what they're called.

 I also have the BEST view in the whole gym! (except for it makes me sad watching volleyball but that's ok.)

sunrise to sunset.

So we went "camping", but really it was just an adventure. We stayed up all night and decided to hike to the top of a mountain and watch the sunrise. It was probably the most beautiful view I have ever seen.

This is a shot from the beach. It was so pretty.

So Later that same night we went to the point and watched the sunset. :)

 Yeah that was the most adventurous day I have had in a long time and it was really fun!.
