Great Opportunities.

Hello world,

Once again it's been way to long. I'm very sorry. So here is a little catching up, i'm home in utah for the summer just getting ready to leave for Taiwan to teach English! woo. I'm not really sure what it's like there and I don't really speak Chinese so this might be a bit interesting. I'm not even good a speaking English so those poor kids. My cousin and I will be on a plane towards that little Chinese island in only a few weeks. I cannot wait! But I owe this amazing opportunity to one of my biggest role models who also went on this adventure as well. Her name would be Amy Schlauder and she is AWESOME! She was one of my high school teachers, volleyball coaches, and idols! She's traveled the world and done things some people only dream of doing. I think i might just have to walk in her footsteps. So thanks for everything Amy!

That is all I have to say about finals week. 

But besides that, there's not much new here. Just trying to catch up in school. I leave the island in 22 days though. :( sad day.

life gives you lemons. just take em.

Hello there blog world. It has yet again been a decade since i've posted anything. So i'm taking the time now to tell the world that i've been a little to concerned about myself. me. me. me. me. me. It is not good. I decided that i need to step outside of my bubble and look at everything in this life that i should be grateful for. Here's a list of a few things:

• I am grateful for.... My parents who surprised me this week and showed up here.
• I am grateful for.... My sisters who give me a good laugh and keep me in line.
• I am grateful for.... My favorite little niece and nephew. 
• I am grateful for.... My grandparents on both sides.
• I am grateful for.... The cousins who I never see.
• I am grateful for.... Opportunities.
• I am grateful for.... A place to live even if it's ghetto.
• I am grateful for.... FOOD! (especially costco muffins and alo drinks)
• I am grateful for....  Kahuku grill
• I am grateful for.... My bike.
• I am grateful for....  A shower.
• I am grateful for.... My mom's DoTerra oils.
• I am grateful for.... friends who stay up with me all night so that we can "study".
• I am grateful for.... Friends who come all the way from Utah to visit.
• I am grateful for....An education at an awesome school.
• I am grateful for.... an amazing roomie who happens to like everything i like.
• I am grateful for....  examples of others. 
• I am grateful for....a bed to sleep on.
• I am grateful for....a cool water bottle that keeps me hydrated.
• I am grateful for.... a paycheck every two weeks (even though i tend to purchase unnecessary things with it.)
• I am grateful for....Technology. 
• I am grateful for....email to inform me that class has been cancelled.
• I am grateful for.... the sun! 
• I am grateful for....The La'ie Temple that is around the corner. 
• I am grateful for....the ocean.
• I am grateful for....books.
• I am grateful for....  this computer.
• I am grateful for.... airplanes.
• I am grateful for....forks.
• I am grateful for.... Everything that I have been blessed with. 

I owe everything to the big man above. I have been taking way too many things for granted lately and  this business needs to stop. At the beginning of the year i started a journal and the goal was to write what i am thankful for that day. As many things as i could possibly think of. I should probably start remembering to do that. random. Anyways, I hope everyone is doing great!

I forgot i had a blog!

Ahh its been so long. I kind of completely forgot that I even have a blog. My life right now consists of going to school, then work, then doing homework, with and occasional nap and maybe a little working out. So recent events of my life have been:

• Homework, homework, homework.
• We attempted to climb stairway to heaven but got caught by security. So we will be going next week.
• Went on another hike instead.
• learned that life is just one big test. Don't sweat the small stuff and put what's important {aka eternal} first.
• switched to a new ward and i think i'm going to love it.
• trying to figure out how to manage my time and not get distracted.
• have two weeks worth of dirty laundry.
• sent packages to the people i love. 
• figuring out that i have the best roomie ever. 
• relieving stress.

All in all, LIFE IS GREAT & i'm ready for the journey.

Christmas break and all.

It has been soooo long! But i'm finally back to hawaii now. I went home for christmas and it was great. here's some pics of everything.

Christmas vacation was so fun. Christmas eve with the Marshals, trip with alissa, movie with chelle, spent time with the sisters, pics at the mall with santa & the babies, 75% off sale at roberts, sister's basketball games, just dance 3, sleep over w/ jess and kat, nothing on new years and everything else!

I still need to figure out my new years resolutions. That's for the next post.

recent changes.

Here's some stuff that has recently happened.. since i'm bad at writing on here.

• I MOVED! woo. 
• The semester has ended 
• I experienced finals week. (without much studying actually)
• I'm considered a fake hawaiian by my boss
• so he took me fishing to make me more hawaiian
• going home.. again! :)
• aunty kahala, mana, and aunty deko are in town. 
• Aunty kahala's famous red velvet cupcakes. :p
• Elder Holland was here! (I set up his mic)

Yeah I don't really know what else has changed. So... yup. boring post, i know. but it'll have to do.
