I'm still alive.

It's been awhile since i've posted on life. So what's new...hmmmmm:

• I went to one of the greatest concerts ever! YTF.
• Dom dom came to visit. :)
• Caught some toads with dom. 
• I got a new long board. I love it. 
• I need to talk to my little sisters more.
• School's the same as always.
• We found a giant spider in our dorm. EWWW! 
• It's almost halloween.
• I went to the haunted lagoon.
• I'm going to become a pro surfer.. once I learn how to stand up. 
• homework, homework, homework. & midterms next week.

Yeah, my life is pretty boring right now. I need to make it exciting.

and the journey begins....

yesterday was my birthday. it was an adventure. :) and i'm now officially an ADULT! I don't know how I feel about that one yet. But i'm excited!

Here's a few things we did:

• Grandma Ah Quin and Papa took me out to dinner @ pcc. :)

•  They gave me a PRETTY lei.

•  My mom mailed Lauren all my presents that they gave me.

•  Lauren decorated my room!

•  I also watched some psych (love it), went to work all night, and then went SURFING! 

It was a good day, or few days. Now for the rest of adulthood! :)

So here's a little lesson that took me too long to learn: 

"Yea, it is the love of God, which sheddeth itself abroad in the hearts of the children of men; wherefore, it is the most desireable above all things....Yea, and the most joyous to the soul... And it came to pass that I beheld that the rod of iron, which my father had seen, was the word of god, which led to the fountain of living waters, or to the tree of life; which waters are a representation of the love of God; and I also beheld that the tree of life was a representation of the love of God."

-nephi 1:22-23, 25

I learned this... that the love of God will bring you the most joy and the word of God leads to his love! wow. It's as simple as reading your scriptures and living them and yet we all seem to feel down sometimes and don't know why. 

I found the cure that's been here all along.
